The Systems Implementation Intern will support our manufacturing and operations teams in the rollout and optimization of new systems used across our production lines. This role offers hands-on experience in process engineering, automation, quality assurance, food safety and production operations within a candy manufacturing environment.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the implementation of new food manufacturing software by digitizing existing manufacturing processes     
  • Document current and future state processes, workflows, and system configurations.
  • Support data collection, analysis, and reporting for system performance and efficiency.
  • Help train operators and supervisors on system changes and new technology rollouts.
  • Conduct time studies, equipment observations, and process validations to ensure successful implementation.
  • Troubleshoot basic system issues and work with technical teams to resolve them.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a degree Engineering, Food Science, Operations Management, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); experience with ERP/MES systems a plus.
  • Interest in food production and manufacturing technology.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
